The 22 inch steel barrel is paired with practical iron sights: a ramped, hoodless front sight and a barrel-mounted adjustable rear sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and this rifle includes two-piece scope bases and rings with a Weaver Marksman scope installed. The optic features a fine crosshair reticle.
Feeding is via a detachable steel box magazine with an overall capacity of 3+1. The included magazine is marked .30-06 and locks securely into the rifle’s magazine well.
Furniture is classic wood throughout, with a straight-comb stock that has pressed checkering, a white-line spacer, and a hard buttplate, along with a matching wood pump fore-end. A cross-bolt safety is positioned for straightforward operation. Sling swivels are installed and fitted with a leather sling. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, and factory weight is approximately 7.5 lb. This U.S.-made example comes from the post-1968 shared serial block production era.
