A Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24 SFP scope with the AR-BDC3 MOA reticle is installed in a one-piece cantilever mount, giving this Saiga a ready-to-use, optics-focused configuration built around its hammer-forged, chrome-lined 16.3-inch barrel.

Built at Izhmash in Russia, this Saiga retains original factory and import markings, including "Made in Russia by Izhmash," Russian proof and acceptance stamps, a 2014 date stamp, and the RWC Group Tullytown PA import mark. U.S. imports of these rifles ceased in 2014, placing this example squarely in the final wave of RWC-era imports.
The rifle is configured with a receiver-length Texas Weapon Systems railed dust cover (Dog Leg-style) for secure optics mounting. It wears Magpul upgrades throughout: a Zhukov-S side-folding, 5-position adjustable polymer stock, a Magpul MOE AK handguard, and a Magpul pistol grip. The front sight is the standard AK front sight base.
It features a 16.3-inch hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel and a stamped-steel receiver with a black finish. The operating system is the AK-type long-stroke gas piston with a 90-degree gas block. Capacity is 30+1 when using compatible magazines.
A Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24 SFP scope with the AR-BDC3 MOA horseshoe/BDC reticle (red illumination) is mounted in a one-piece cantilever mount on the Picatinny rail of the Texas Weapon Systems railed dust cover. The left-side receiver dovetail is visible and unused. This variable-power setup complements the TWS railed dust cover for stable, receiver-length optics placement.
Magazine fitment note: the installed magazine release is very tight and only works reliably with certain magazines. The three provided 30-round magazines seat properly in this rifle. As with many Saiga-pattern rifles, not all AKM-pattern magazines will work reliably in this platform.
