Springfield Armory SA-35 9mm Luger, Full-Size, Matte Blued, 4.7 in Barrel, 15+1 Capacity
This U.S.-made SA-35 is Springfield Armory's modernization of the classic Browning Hi-Power (P-35) pattern. It pairs a forged carbon-steel slide and frame with a cold hammer-forged barrel and an improved feed ramp. The design omits the magazine disconnect safety for drop-free magazines while retaining hallmark Hi-Power elements like the ring hammer, checkered walnut grips, and fixed dovetailed sights.

The SA-35 follows the full-size Hi-Power pattern and is built on forged carbon steel for both the slide and frame, finished in a uniform matte blued treatment. The barrel measures 4.7 inches and is cold hammer-forged, with an improved feed ramp to enhance reliability with a range of ammunition profiles.
Springfield Armory deletes the magazine disconnect safety on this model, allowing drop-free magazine changes. Capacity is 15+1 using the included flush 15-round magazine. The pistol operates in single-action and features a left-side magazine release and a positive thumb safety.
Sight regulation is handled by fixed, dovetailed units: a white-dot front post and a serrated ledge-style rear. Vertical rear cocking serrations on the slide aid manipulation, while the ring (rowel) hammer and checkered walnut grip panels with a single screw per side maintain the classic Hi-Power ergonomics.
Observed factory rollmarks appear on the slide, barrel hood, and frame, and the pistol is marked as made in the USA. This configuration brings modern manufacturing to a respected service-pistol lineage while keeping its defining controls and profile.
