The Competition Target Model configuration centers on a 6.9-inch slab-sided, heavy stainless barrel that provides a rigid profile for stable shooting. The stainless frame and receiver match the barrel for a uniform, corrosion-resistant build and a clean, target-style presentation.
The action is the proven Ruger Mark II blowback, semi-automatic system with a last-round bolt hold-open. It feeds from detachable box magazines and is chambered in .22 LR with a 10+1 capacity.
The receiver is factory drilled and tapped and currently has an optics base/rail installed. The pistol retains its fully adjustable rear target sight. Checkered wood/laminate grip panels with Ruger medallions complete the target-focused setup.
This example bears Ruger’s KMK678GC catalog designation and was manufactured in 2003. It includes two factory 10-round steel magazines, the original Ruger hard case with model end label, and the Ruger Mark II instruction manual and parts list.
