The PC Carbine Free-Float Handguard model centers on a 16.12 in chrome-moly steel barrel that is cold hammer-forged, heavy contour, fluted, and threaded 1/2x28. It uses 6-groove rifling with a 1:10 in right-hand twist, offering a durable, precise barrel assembly that accepts common 9mm muzzle devices.
Ruger’s dead-blow straight blowback action incorporates a tungsten weight to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise. The charging handle and magazine release are reversible, and the carbine includes an interchangeable magazine-well system with the SR-Series/Security-9 well installed and a Glock-pattern well included.
The takedown interface uses a rotary lock ring at the barrel/receiver junction for quick separation and easy transport. Up top, the receiver integrates a Picatinny rail, while the CNC-milled aluminum free-float handguard provides M-LOK slots on all sides for accessory mounting.
Sighting is handled by a protected blade front and an adjustable ghost-ring rear. The black glass-filled nylon stock offers an adjustable length of pull with included spacers and a soft rubber buttpad. Approximate weight is 7.0 lb, and capacity is 17+1 with the included Ruger SR-Series steel magazine with witness holes to 17.
