This discontinued SIG Sauer P227 TacOps stands out as a full-size, double-stack .45 ACP from the Classic P-Series with a 10+1 capacity, DA/SA operation, and the SRT trigger. The P227 TacOps is part of SIG's Classic P-Series and was produced circa 2013–2019 before being discontinued. This example was manufactured in Newington, New Hampshire, and the included factory case label is dated 27-MAR-2018, marked Made in United States, with the label serial matching the pistol.
It uses a DA/SA action with a decocker and SIG's short-reset trigger, paired with an external hammer. The stainless steel slide wears a Nitron black finish and features both forward and rear serrations for confident manipulation.
The full-size aluminum-alloy frame is hard-anodized and incorporates a beavertail and an integral MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail. The 4.4 in non-threaded barrel and 10+1 capacity provide the classic P227 TacOps configuration.
Sighting is handled by a TruGlo tritium/fiber-optic front sight marked TG-H3 and a SIGLITE square-notch rear. Two-piece checkered grip panels with an integral magwell flare support fast reloads, and the four included 10-round magazines are steel and marked Made in Italy.
