The GForce Arms Jawbone Hybrid (model GFHYB5) is a compact AR-9 format 9mm pistol built with a hybrid polymer lower reinforced by aluminum inserts and an aluminum-alloy upper. This 5-inch configuration measures 20.75 inches overall, weighs 5.0 lbs unloaded, and features a nitrided 4140 steel barrel threaded 1/2x28 with an included blast diverter/thread protector. It accepts Glock-pattern double-column magazines and has last-round bolt hold-open.

Rifling: Excellent - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: This firearm is in great shape. There are minor, superficial scratches and blemishes present. The bore is clean and shiny.

Built on the AR-9 platform with a straight blowback action, the Jawbone Hybrid combines a lightweight polymer lower and aluminum-alloy upper for durability and balance. Steel components receive a QPQ nitride finish, and the receiver is marked RENO, NV, USA.
The 5-inch 4140 steel barrel is nitrided and threaded 1/2x28. A blast diverter/thread protector is included. The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard and a top Picatinny rail on the receiver provide ample mounting real estate; the handguard top is M-LOK (not a continuous top rail).
Controls are user-friendly and modern: ambidextrous safety and ambidextrous magazine release, plus a forward-mounted, reversible, non-reciprocating HK-style charging handle positioned near the muzzle. The design supports last-round bolt hold-open with Glock-pattern double-column magazines.
This GFHYB5 configuration ships with one extended 34-round magazine and one 15-round Glock OEM magazine. It is a recent release with an MSRP of $439 and comes without factory iron sights.
