Built on a double-stack 1911-pattern frame, the DS9 Hybrid pairs a full-length dust cover with an integral 1913/Picatinny rail and a flared magazine well. The pistol is machined from bar stock and billet and finished in DLC/PVD for added surface durability.
The slide uses a tri-top profile with front and rear cocking serrations, top lightening cuts, and side windows. A fixed front sight block carries a red fiber-optic blade, while the rear is a Kensight adjustable unit for precise alignment.
The 5-inch bushingless bull barrel is ported. Controls include a beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, and a checkered magazine release. A skeletonized three-hole trigger and skeletonized hammer complement the golf-ball texture grips for positive purchase.
Capacity is 20+1 in 9mm Luger, and two 20-round magazines are included. An MBX base pad is observed on a magazine in the provided photos. The DS9 Hybrid line was introduced in 2020 and is produced in Camilla, Georgia, USA.
