1962 Browning High Power Medallion Grade .30-06, Belgian-Made, FN Mauser 98 CRF, 22 in Barrel, Factory-Engraved Coin-Finished Receiver
This 1962 Browning High Power Medallion Grade is a Belgian-made .30-06 built on the FN Mauser 98 controlled-round-feed action with a 22 in barrel and an internal 4-round box magazine. It features the Medallion package with a coin-finished, factory-engraved receiver and an engraved floorplate with a ram head motif, plus a gold-colored trigger and high-polish blued barrel. The receiver is drilled and tapped, there are no open sights, and it carries Belgian Liège proofs and a St. Louis & Montreal address. A Limbsaver recoil pad has been installed, and the length of pull measures 14.0 in.

Made in Belgium and proofed at Liège, this rifle bears ELG-in-oval, Perron, and star-over-letter inspector marks. The barrel carries the Browning Arms Company St. Louis, Mo. & Montreal, P.Q. address and is marked Made in Belgium.
It was manufactured in 1962.
The Medallion Grade metalwork includes a coin-finished receiver with factory scroll engraving and a matching engraved bottom metal/floorplate featuring a ram head motif. The barrel is finished in a high-polish blue, and the rifle is fitted with a gold-colored, single-stage trigger. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, and there are no open sights.
The rifle is built on the FN Mauser 98 platform with controlled-round feed and a long, non-rotating claw extractor. It uses an internal 4-round box magazine and is equipped with a manual, right-side sliding safety.
The gloss-finished walnut stock shows classic Browning Medallion styling: skip-line checkering, rosewood fore-end tip and grip cap, and white-line spacers, along with sling swivel studs. A Limbsaver rubber recoil pad has been installed, yielding a 14.0 in length of pull.
