This Sig Sauer P938 Nightmare is a micro-size 9mm with the SAO trigger system, tritium 3-dot night sights, and a custom-installed threaded barrel with a knurled protector. It pairs a Nitron-finished stainless-steel slide with an aluminum-alloy frame and includes three 7-round magazines, the original non-threaded factory barrel, and the SIG case, manual, and holster.

The Nightmare-series configuration features a stainless-steel slide with a Nitron black finish over an aluminum-alloy frame with black hard-coat anodizing. The controls present in a contrasting silver tone, and the slide includes rear serrations for a positive grasp.
Sights are a 3-dot tritium set, offering a clear, consistent sight picture in varied light conditions.
This example is customized with a threaded barrel installed and capped by a knurled thread protector. The original SIG Sauer P938 non-threaded barrel is also included, providing flexibility for different setups.
The micro-size P938 format combines a 3.5" barrel length with a 7+1 capacity using the included extended-floorplate magazines. It is a single-action-only design with an external hammer, an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, and a firing pin block. Black checkered grips with SIG SAUER logos offer a secure hold.
Markings include SIG SAUER INC., EXETER–NH–USA on the frame, and the case label lists model 938-9-NMR-AMBI with a date of 30-SEP-2015. The serial number on the frame matches the case label.
