Built on the AR-15 platform, this Sugar Weasel is chambered in 5.56mm NATO and uses a 16-inch barrel with a 1:7 twist for modern duty and range loads. The barrel is threaded and fitted with the factory Q Cherry Bomb with the Q Whistle Tip installed over it. The operating system is semi-automatic, direct impingement, and the rifle carries a listed capacity of 30+1.
Controls and ergonomics are well-executed with the Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle bearing the Q logo, a flat-faced trigger, and the compact Magpul MOE-K pistol grip. The Magpul adjustable carbine stock provides an approximate length of pull range from 10.5 inches to 14 inches and is finished in gray to match the handguard.
The extended M-LOK aluminum handguard offers versatile accessory mounting, while a continuous full-length 12 o'clock Picatinny rail aligns with the flat-top upper receiver. The upper includes a shell deflector and ejection port door. No sights are installed.
