Made in the United States and marked HKI Columbus, GA, the CC9 brings HK's micro-compact format to domestic production. The pistol was announced on October 16, 2024 and is designed to deliver duty-grade performance in a size category optimized for discreet carry.
The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and a black DLC finish, plus a direct-mount optics interface using the RMSc/Holosun-K footprint with a cover plate installed. Ambidextrous slide-stop levers and a push-button magazine release support intuitive, flexible handling.
The 3.32 inch steel barrel is cold-hammer-forged with polygonal rifling, treated with DLC, and rated for +P ammunition. A 1:9.8 RH twist supports common 9mm loads. HK evaluated the platform to NATO AC/225 standards with over 750,000 development rounds.
Sights include a dovetailed tritium front sight with a green dot paired to a blacked-out, serrated square-notch rear. A loaded-chamber indicator is integrated via the extractor's red witness mark. The striker-fired, short-recoil Browning-type action incorporates a safe takedown system and multiple passive safeties.
The polymer frame uses interchangeable backstraps and includes an accessory rail. Capacity is 12+1 with the included 12-round magazine, and a 10-round magazine is also provided for added flexibility.
