The 5.3-inch cold hammer-forged stainless-steel barrel is threaded .578x28 RH and pairs with suppressor-height 3-dot iron sights for use with a suppressor and to clear the included factory-milled optics cut. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation.
This is a hammer-fired, DA/SA configuration with an external spur hammer and ambidextrous safety/decocker. The controls are fully ambidextrous, including the slide stop and magazine release, making the pistol adaptable for right- or left-handed use.
The pistol uses a stainless-steel slide and a Flat Dark Earth polymer frame with a beavertail. Aggressive grip texturing and interchangeable backstraps allow the user to tailor the fit. An integral Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover supports lights or lasers.
Capacity is 15+1 rounds of .45 ACP, and this example ships with four factory 15-round magazines featuring stainless-steel bodies. The slide and frame are finished in Flat Dark Earth, and the pistol is marked "FN Columbia, SC USA."
