The Vickers Elite brings Larry Vickers' input to a full-size Wilson Combat 1911. It runs a traditional GI-style recoil system with a barrel bushing and standard spring plug for straightforward maintenance and proven function. The frame is steel and non-railed, with straight vertical serrations on the front strap and mainspring housing and a blended magazine-well funnel for smooth reloads.
Sight configuration is practical and fast: a dovetailed blade front sight with a gold-colored bead paired to a serrated fixed U-notch rear with a ledge, Wilson Combat marked. The slide is flat-topped with longitudinal serrations (rib), features rear cocking serrations, and adds three wide grasping grooves at the muzzle end (no conventional front cocking serrations). The ejection port is lowered and flared.
Controls and fire-control parts are purpose-built, including a solid, smooth-faced trigger and a skeletonized Commander-style ring hammer. Safeties include a left-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with memory pad. G10 grips wear Vickers "V" logos, and the slide also carries Vickers branding.
