The installed Daniel Defense free-float quad-rail handguard adds a rigid aluminum interface with numbered slots for consistent accessory placement. Free-floating the barrel helps maintain consistent barrel harmonics, and the quad-rail format offers robust mounting real estate.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and capped with an A2-pattern birdcage flash suppressor. The A2 front sight base includes a bayonet lug and a sling swivel. The rifle accepts STANAG-pattern magazines and is configured here with a 30+1 capacity.
