This Russian-made Molot Vepr-Super in .308 Win pairs a 21-inch heavy-profile fluted, threaded barrel with a refined walnut thumbhole stock and AK-pattern long-stroke gas system. It comes ready to shoot with a Primary Arms 1-6x scope on a quick-detach side-rail mount and includes one 25-round and two 10-round magazines. Manufactured by Molot-Oruzhie Ltd. in Vyatskie Polyany, Russia and imported by FIME Group, this Vepr-Super is chambered in .308 Win and uses the Kalashnikov-pattern rotating-bolt, long-stroke gas-piston system in a semi-automatic configuration. It feeds from detachable box magazines of the Vepr/Super proprietary pattern.
The rifle is built around a 21-inch heavy-profile barrel that is fluted and threaded at the muzzle. The fluted contour and threaded end are distinctive features on this Vepr-Super and complement its accuracy-focused setup in .308 Win.
Furniture is walnut throughout, including a thumbhole stock with cheek piece, palm swell, and a ventilated rubber buttpad, plus a walnut forend with checkering. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches. The magazine release is the familiar paddle-style.
Sighting options include iron sights with a hoodless front post protected by ears and a tangent rear sight with a sliding elevation ramp. The rifle uses the AK-pattern left-side receiver dovetail for optics; included is a Primary Arms 1-6x scope mounted on a quick-lever side-rail mount.
