This Knight's Armament SR-15 E3 Mod 2 combines KAC's proprietary E3 bolt and Mod 2 gas system with a 16-inch chrome-lined, hammer-forged barrel and the URX 4 free-float M-LOK handguard. It features fully ambidextrous controls, a flat-top upper receiver with a 1913 Picatinny rail, and a B5 Systems collapsible stock. The URX 4 handguard has no integral top rail; an add-on 1913 rail section is installed, and two windowed Magpul PMAGs are included.

The 16-inch barrel is chrome-lined and hammer-forged with a 1:7 twist, paired with a two-prong flash-hider-style muzzle device. The rifle is chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 30+1 capacity, and it runs a semi-automatic, direct impingement action.
KAC's proprietary E3 bolt design and Mod 2 gas system are core features of this SR-15 E3 Mod 2. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the magazine release, safety selector, and bolt release. The upper also includes a forward assist, brass deflector, and ejection-port cover.
The KAC URX 4 free-float M-LOK handguard (aluminum) provides a rigid, lightweight interface. The upper receiver is flat-top with a 1913 Picatinny rail; the handguard has no integral top rail, with an add-on 1913 rail section installed.
Ergonomics include a B5 Systems collapsible carbine stock (polymer) and an A2-style polymer pistol grip. The receiver set is aluminum with a matte black finish, and markings include SR-15 5.56mm Knights Mfg Co Titusville FL USA, the Stoner Rifle crest, Mod 2 on the upper/receiver, and URX 4 on the handguard.
