The PPS Classic (M1) is the original single-stack, compact PPS with the hallmark ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release. Made in Germany at Carl Walther Ulm/Do., this example carries German eagle/N nitro proofs, the Ulm stag horn, DE country code, and the CIP "BC" 2012 date code, alongside the Smith & Wesson Springfield, MA import mark.
Its striker-fired action incorporates a trigger safety with an integrated safety shoe and Walther's QuickSafe system. Removing the backstrap disables the pistol, and this set includes a spare QuickSafe backstrap to support the system as designed.
The 3.2" barrel includes a loaded-chamber witness cut on the hood for quick visual status checks. The slide has grasping serrations and a dehorned profile with a matte black finish. The black polymer frame features textured panels and a removable backstrap for fit tuning, while the fixed notch/post sights use a white-dot front for fast alignment.
As a single-stack 9mm, the PPS Classic (M1) supports a maximum capacity of 8+1. This package includes three 8-round magazines plus 7- and 6-round options, offering a mix of flush and extended baseplates to suit different carry and control preferences. Matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel, and frame add completeness to this German-made 2012 example.
