    What's Included

    • Smith & Wesson Model 34/35 instruction manual

This Model 34-1 is the classic S&W Kit Gun configuration: a compact J-frame, six-shot .22 LR revolver with a 2-inch barrel and double-action/single-action operation. The steel frame and barrel wear a polished blue finish, and the round-butt grip frame carries checkered walnut service stocks with S&W medallions.

Sights are fully adjustable iron sights, combining a serrated ramp front with an adjustable micrometer rear. The topstrap and barrel rib have longitudinal serrations to reduce glare, supporting a precise sight picture on a short-barreled .22.

Period-correct details include a pinned barrel and color casehardened controls: a smooth, narrow, casehardened trigger and an exposed, color casehardened hammer with a checkered spur. The six-flute cylinder maintains the traditional Kit Gun profile.

Functional touches include an exposed, knurled ejector-rod tip with no full-length underlug for a lighter front end. Factory markings are present, including the S&W trademark on the left sideplate and "MOD 34-1" on the yoke cut with internal assembly numbers. Made in the United States, this 1970s example reflects the features collectors and shooters expect in a Model 34-1.
