The takedown system uses a rotating locking collar for quick separation and secure reattachment of the barrel assembly. The Magpul PC Backpacker stock adds practical field features, including integrated storage compartments and interchangeable cheek risers, and it latches the barrel/forend to the buttstock for streamlined carry.
The 16.12 in alloy-steel barrel is fluted to reduce forward weight and threaded 1/2x28 for compatibility with common 9mm muzzle devices. A full-length Picatinny rail runs along the receiver for mounting, and the factory iron sights include a protected front blade and adjustable ghost-ring rear for fast alignment.
This carbine operates via a semi-automatic blowback system with a dead-blow tungsten weight designed to moderate bolt travel and felt recoil. The aluminum-alloy receiver wears a Type III hard-coat anodized finish for durability.
The interchangeable magazine-well system expands flexibility. It is currently set up for Glock-pattern magazines (G9/G40 insert installed), and the sale includes the Ruger SR/Security-9 magwell module for easy swaps. Capacity is 10+1, and the length of pull measures 13.75 in. The Flat Dark Earth polymer stock complements the carbine’s practical, packable design.
