This CDS9 OR RL is an all-metal, single-action, hammer-fired micro designed around controllable handling in a small footprint. The aluminum-alloy frame keeps weight down, while the stainless-steel slide wears Kimber’s KimPro II finish in black for added surface protection.
The optics-ready slide uses the RMSc footprint and ships with an optic cover plate installed. Fixed iron sights include a white-dot front and a square-notch rear. Front and rear straight (vertical) cocking serrations, along with diagonal relief cuts near the muzzle, provide confident slide manipulation.
Its 3.18-inch match-grade stainless barrel features 5R rifling and a 1:10 twist. A dual recoil-spring system aids cycling and durability. The relief-cut single-action trigger and external hammer complete the SAO fire-control setup.
Ergonomics and control features include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, an ambidextrous slide stop, and a reversible magazine release. Textured black grip panels with textured frontstrap and backstrap enhance purchase. An integral accessory rail on the dustcover supports compatible lights or accessories.
