The Q4 Steel Frame pairs a precision-machined steel frame with a steel slide for a solid, balanced feel. It features an extended beavertail, a full-length dust cover, and a 3-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail. Front and rear slide serrations and a top anti-glare rib aid manipulation and sight focus.
Its striker-fired system uses Walther's Quick Defense trigger with a pre-set striker and an approximate 5.5 lb pull. Controls include a left-side slide stop and a left-side push-button magazine release, plus three internal automatic safeties. A loaded-chamber witness hole on the barrel hood provides a quick visual status check.
The 4.0 in barrel has a 1:10 twist and polygonal rifling. Steel iron sights are set in dovetails, with the front sight marked "MK3." This example is the standard iron-sight, non-optics-ready configuration.
Proof and origin markings include CIP N proof, DE country code, and a DE 2022 date code, along with WALTHER ARMS, FORT SMITH, AR and CARL WALTHER ULM/DO., GERMANY. Overall dimensions are approximately 7.4 × 5.4 × 1.42 in, and empty weight is approximately 39.7 oz. Capacity is 15+1 using the included steel magazines.
