The 5.50 in bull barrel is cold hammer-forged, factory-threaded, and fitted with a knurled thread protector, providing a suppressor-ready setup from the factory. Its fixed-barrel layout with a cylindrical reciprocating bolt is integral to the Mark series design, and the serialized upper/receiver carries the sights for consistent alignment.
The action is a semi-automatic, straight-blowback, single-action system with an internal hammer. Controls include an ambidextrous manual safety, a magazine disconnect, and a left-side push-button magazine release. Magazines are designed to drop free for efficient reloads, and capacity is 10+1.
Sighting is handled by a fixed front blade and a fully adjustable rear target sight mounted to the receiver/upper. The frame and receiver are stainless steel with a satin stainless finish, paired with black checkered synthetic grips featuring Ruger red-eagle medallions.
The Mark IV one-button takedown makes field-stripping straightforward. Dimensions are full-size at 9.75 in overall length, 5.50 in height, and 1.20 in width. Weight is 42.8 oz. The 6-groove bore uses a 1:16 RH twist suitable for .22 LR.
This 2023-production example is made in the USA (Prescott, AZ) and arrives with four factory steel magazines, the Ruger hard case, and the instruction manual.
