The gun ships with a flush Mobilchoke Modified tube installed and uses a vented, stepped rib with an orange fiber-optic front bead and a steel mid-bead for a crisp sight picture.

The A300 Ultima is the latest evolution of Beretta's reliable A300 series. It maintains the proven A300 operating system while adding updated aesthetics and standard features. Beretta markets the Ultima line as available in both 12 and 20 gauge configurations, with enhanced user interfaces and recoil reduction designed to raise performance in this class. The gas-operated action uses an exhaust valve and a locked breech with an elevated locking block. Capacity is 4+1 rounds. The enlarged bolt handle, oversized bolt-release paddle, and expanded loading port are designed for faster, more confident handling.
The 28 inch steel barrel features a vent rib and stepped rib and accepts Beretta Mobilchoke tubes. A flush Modified tube is installed. Sighting is via bead sights with an orange fiber-optic front bead and a steel mid-bead.
Ergonomics and recoil control are central to this model. The black synthetic stock includes molded texturing on the grip and forend, Beretta's Kick-Off recoil reduction system, an elastomeric cheek insert/soft-touch comb, and an adjustable length of pull.
