The Gen 4 update adds an external slide stop/lock with a protective fence, enhancing handling while maintaining the DB9's streamlined profile. A left-side push-button magazine release and a striker-fired system with a short-reset, curved trigger provide straightforward, familiar controls.
Dimensions and weight are optimized for concealed carry: approximately 0.89 in wide, 5.73 in overall length, and about 13.4 oz unloaded. Capacity is single-stack 6+1 in 9mm Luger, with a captive recoil spring to manage the compact slide’s movement.
Sight configuration is practical and durable: fixed, dovetailed steel sights in a Glock-compatible pattern, with an orange-dot front post and a plain black rear notch for a clear sight picture. Vertical serrations are machined at the front and rear of the slide for confident manipulation.
Construction is straightforward and robust, pairing a steel barrel with a matte black slide and a black polymer frame.
