The MC14 BDA carries roll marks reading 'MC14 BDA' with 'GIRSAN' on the left side, along with clear importer markings 'EAA, Cocoa FL' and 'MADE IN TURKEY.' It is a recent release that revives the proven enclosed-top slide concept in a current-production package.
Its operating system is DA/SA with a straight-blowback design. A frame-mounted thumb safety and an exposed spurred hammer provide familiar, direct controls. The slide has rear serrations only and a black finish that matches the black aluminum-alloy frame.
Sight regulation is straightforward with fixed iron sights: a squared front blade and a square-notch rear. The frame incorporates vertical serrations on the frontstrap and backstrap for added purchase, and the black polymer grip panels feature diagonal texturing with G medallions.
Dimensions and handling are compact and carry-friendly, with a 3.8 in barrel, an overall length of about 6.8 in, and a weight around 24 oz. Capacity is 10+1, and the included Mec-Gar magazines are the MG-B .380-10 pattern with reported compatibility with Beretta 84 pattern magazines.
