Built on a full-size Government-length profile, the Black Ops 14.45 delivers 14+1 capacity in a wide-body double-stack grip frame. The front strap and mainspring housing are checkered, and a flared magazine well funnel speeds reloads while enhancing control.
The slide and frame are stainless steel coated in a matte black Ionbond PVD finish for durability and low glare. The match-grade stainless barrel features an integral feed ramp and Ionbond PVD coating, with a 1:16-inch left-hand twist for .45 ACP. The barrel hood is marked ".45 ACP" with "MATCH" visible at the chamber.
Controls and ergonomics are set up for confident handling: single-action operation, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. A skeletonized, competition-style trigger with overtravel adjustment and a skeletonized commander-style hammer complete the firing system.
Fixed tritium night sights include a Trijicon tritium front sight marked "H3 13" and a matching tritium rear sight. The slide carries front and rear cocking serrations and is roll-marked "BLACK OPS" with the winged-skull emblem and "Para 1911." The dust cover integrates an accessory rail for lights or other compatible equipment.
