The Shadow 2 Compact follows the proven CZ-75 pattern with inside-frame slide rails and a low bore axis. It uses a semi-automatic, hammer-fired DA/SA action and features an ambidextrous manual safety with low-profile levers. A reversible, reduced-height magazine release supports left- or right-handed use, and standard capacity is 15+1.
Its forged 7075 aluminum alloy frame pairs with a 4 inch cold-hammer-forged barrel for durability and consistency. The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations and a serrated flat-top, plus an optics cut with a removable cover plate that uses the Shadow 2 OR plate interface.
Sighting is fast and precise thanks to a fiber-optic front sight and a fully adjustable rear. Aggressively textured grip panels with CZ SHADOW 2 branding provide confident control.
The dust cover carries a three-slot Picatinny rail for mounting compatible lights or accessories. Overall dimensions are approximately 7.5 in L × 1.4 in W × 5.4 in H, with an unloaded weight of about 30 oz. Markings include a triangular proof mark with '24' near the ejection port and a CZ-USA Hartford, CT import mark. Made in the Czech Republic.
