This Pro-format 1911 uses a 4-inch slide paired with a full-size Government-length grip, delivering familiar handling with a more compact top end. The bushingless, bull barrel design provides a solid lockup, and the barrel hood is marked ".45 ACP" and visible through the ejection port. Capacity is 7+1 with the included single-stack magazines.
The slide is matte stainless with rear cocking serrations only and a lowered, flared ejection port. It retains an internal extractor and carries the "STAINLESS PRO CARRY" rollmark. Fixed, dovetailed, low-profile front and rear sights keep the sight picture uncluttered and durable.
Controls and ergonomics include a left-side thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory pad, and a lightweight, match-style three-hole trigger. The hammer is a Commander-style rounded type. The frame is matte silver with a high-cut under the trigger guard, a smooth frontstrap, a checkered mainspring housing, a checkered magazine release, and a beveled magazine well for efficient reloads.
Checkered hardwood double-diamond grips with an oval Kimber logo pressed/laser-etched into the wood complete the classic 1911 profile. The frame is marked Yonkers, NY U.S.A., and overall fit and finish present cleanly in person.
