Walther PD380 .380 ACP Compact DA/SA, Two-Tone, 3.7 in Barrel, 8+1, German-Made
This Walther PD380 is a compact, DA/SA, hammer-fired .380 ACP with a two-tone finish and an 8+1 capacity. It features SuperTerrain slide serrations, an ambidextrous paddle magazine release, and a slide-mounted manual safety. Marked with CIP N proofs and a DE24 (2024) date code, it is made in Germany by Carl Walther in Ulm/Do. and imported by Walther Arms, Fort Smith, AR. The locked-breech design is intended for easier slide racking and reduced recoil, and the 3.7 in barrel keeps the package carry-friendly while maintaining shootability.

The PD380 uses a DA/SA, hammer-fired, short-recoil locked-breech action. It has an external hammer and an ambidextrous, slide-mounted manual safety; it is not a decocker. Red fire indicator dots and internal firing pin/trigger blocking devices are included in the safety system.
Controls are fully ambidextrous where applicable. The paddle-style magazine release is ambidextrous, and the slide-mounted manual safety is ambidextrous. The slide intentionally omits an external slide-stop lever; the slide locks open on an empty magazine and is released by racking.
The compact 3.7 in barrel and 8+1 capacity balance concealability and capacity. The black polymer frame wears Performance Duty grip texturing for secure purchase. A 3-slot accessory rail on the dust cover supports common compact weapon-mounted lights or accessories.
Sight configuration is practical and highly visible: an AmeriGlo W40 AF high-visibility yellow front dot paired with an adjustable rear notch featuring a top adjustment screw. This setup allows precise zeroing with a bright front reference.
Build details include a silver/gray slide over a black frame for a two-tone appearance, plus SuperTerrain slide serrations for enhanced grasp. Markings include CIP N proof marks, a DE24 (2024) date code, "CARL WALTHER ULM/DO. MADE IN GERMANY," and "WALTHER ARMS FORT SMITH, AR." MSRP is listed at $449.00.
