This Super Duty Mod 1 SBR is built around an 11.5 in cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel with a manganese-phosphate exterior, paired with a HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 556 open three-prong muzzle device. The barrel is threaded, and the rifle runs a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system for dependable function.
The Super Modular Rail MK16 free-float handguard provides M-LOK mounting surfaces and a numbered top Picatinny rail. The MK16 design shares lineage with the USASOC URG-I program, and this rifle includes a factory-installed M-LOK QD sling socket. A standard forward assist and ejection-port cover are present.
The receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a Desert Dirt Color (DDC) Type III hard-coat anodize. DDC anodize color may vary by component. The rifle is equipped with an adjustable stock, with a listed length of pull from 11.0 to 14.5 in.
Internals feature the Geissele Reliability Enhanced BCG with Nanoweapon coating and a Carpenter 158+ Stressproof bolt. Controls are equally premium, with the SSA-E X two-stage Lightning Bow (flat) trigger, the Super Configurable Safety (ambi-capable), and the Airborne Charging Handle (PN 05-497).
