This example features a 3.75-inch barrel, single-stack 6+1 capacity, adjustable sights, and smooth wood grip panels. It is a U.S.-made pistol with factory markings and comes with two magazines and the original soft case.

The Cadet series delivers the distinctive Coonan concept in a compact format, pairing a 3.75-inch barrel with a single-stack 6+1 magazine specifically engineered to feed the rimmed .357 Magnum cartridge. This proprietary magazine geometry is central to the platform’s reliable operation with full-power revolver ammunition.
Built entirely of stainless steel, the pistol presents brushed flats with matte rounds for a purposeful, two-texture finish. It uses a single-action, short-recoil, locked-breech system with an external extractor, a full-length guide rod with a hex-head plug, and a compact-length slide over a short dust cover.
Controls and handling features include a manual thumb safety, no grip safety, a pivoting trigger, and a spurred hammer. The sights consist of a dovetailed adjustable square-notch rear and a ramped front blade with an orange/red insert for defined sight alignment.
Factory rollmarks are present: the barrel hood is marked ".357 MAG.", the left side of the slide reads "COONAN .357 MAGNUM AUTOMATIC.", and the right side of the frame is marked "COONAN ARMS, INC., ST. PAUL, MN., U.S.A.". Smooth wood grip panels complete the compact stainless presentation made in the USA.
