The A-Bolt II action uses a three-lug, 60-degree lift, push-feed bolt for fast cycling and strong lock-up. A left-side bolt-release tab, tang safety, and a receiver drilled and tapped for scope bases support practical field use. The super-short action is purpose-built for the .243 WSSM.
Medallion-grade details include factory scroll engraving on the receiver flats and floorplate, with "MEDALLION" engraved on the receiver flat. The receiver and bolt body wear a bright silver finish, while the barrel, bottom metal, and bolt handle/shroud are blued for a clean two-tone presentation.
The detachable box magazine is integrated into a hinged floorplate with a gold Buckmark latch, providing convenient loading and unloading. Capacity is 4 rounds. The rifle has no factory sights.
The stock is gloss walnut with crisp checkering, a straight comb, sling swivel studs, a recoil pad with a white-line spacer, and a 13.0-inch length of pull. Marked "Made in Japan," this example corresponds to 2004 production per the "MW" serial code.
