The STR-9 is a striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech design chambered in 9mm Luger, offering a 15+1 capacity in a standard-size format. Its 4-inch steel barrel uses a black nitride finish for corrosion and wear resistance, matched to a matte black slide with front and rear cocking serrations for positive manipulation.
The frame is fiberglass-reinforced polymer with steel inserts for stability and longevity. An integral 3-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail on the dust cover supports common lights or lasers, and the textured grip includes a palm swell and finger grooves for a secure, repeatable hold.
Duty-ready sighting is provided by steel, dovetailed 3-dot sights front and rear. A witness hole in the barrel hood provides quick loaded-chamber status checks, and the pistol is built without a magazine disconnect, allowing it to fire with or without the magazine inserted.
