The V1 configuration provides DA/SA operation with a left-side manual safety/decocker, paired with an ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release and a spurred external hammer. Fixed steel sights with contrast dots offer a 6.22 in sight radius.
The 4.25 in cold-hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling, and the slide is a one-piece machined steel unit finished in HK's Hostile Environment nitrocarburized treatment. HK's recoil reduction system is standard, and the frame is fiber-reinforced polymer.
