The factory-threaded barrel uses the common 1/2x28 pattern and is match-grade and hammer-forged. This extended, threaded configuration supports suppressor use and reflects the Tactical OSP focus on accuracy and compatibility with muzzle devices.
The OSP slide is factory milled and includes a cover plate, providing a plate-based mounting interface. Suppressor-height iron sights, with a tall front post and square-notch rear, are designed to co-witness when an optic is installed.
Controls and ergonomics include ambidextrous slide stop levers, a flared short removable magwell system, interchangeable backstraps, and an accessory rail on the dust cover for mounting a light or other compatible accessories.
The META flat-face trigger with overtravel stop, along with the grip safety and trigger safety, delivers the XD-M Elite fire control feel with layered, passive safeties. The forged steel slide wears a black Melonite finish, and the polymer frame is finished in black for a uniform, duty-ready appearance.
