The XCR Tactical Long Range is built around a short-action, right-hand Model 700 receiver with a black TriNyte PVD finish over stainless steel. The 26-inch heavy-contour, fluted barrel is stainless, free-floated, and capped with a recessed target crown. A 1:12 RH twist supports common .308 Win bullet weights for precision use.
The Bell & Carlson tactical stock uses aramid-fiber reinforced composite construction in green with black web. It integrates a full-length aluminum bedding block and a free-floated barrel channel for consistency. A beavertail forend, sling swivel stud, and a LimbSaver recoil pad complement a 14.5-inch length of pull.
The action features a two-lug bolt with a round, checkered knob, an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, and a two-position safety. Remington's X-Mark Pro adjustable trigger is factory-fitted. The rifle is configured without sights.
Included upgrades add functional value: a LaRue Tactical Picatinny receiver rail for mounting, a detachable sling-stud-mounted bipod, and a fabric stock pack with a data card window. The rifle was made in the USA and dates to May 2008, as indicated by the Remington barrel code KJ.
