The MP-22 Accelerator is a blowback-operated, single-action, internal-hammer design chambered in .22 WMR (.22 Magnum). It features a 9+1 capacity, a right-side charging knob, and a last-round hold open for straightforward operation.
An 8.5 in heavy bull stainless barrel anchors the build, matched to a stainless slide and a durable black polymer grip frame. The long barrel configuration supports a long sight radius and steady handling.
A full-length integral aluminum Weaver-type optics base is fixed to the barrel/receiver. Because the rib is stationary relative to the barrel, a mounted optic remains fixed while the slide cycles.
Iron sights include a ramped front blade and a fully adjustable square-notch rear. Controls include a left-side manual safety and an internal firing pin block. The pistol is capable of firing with the magazine removed.
