Specific Condition Notes: There are widespread scratches and blemishes across the exterior surfaces and furniture. Large patches of rust and pitting are present in multiple areas of the shotgun. The bolt face shows visible rust spots. The bore is clean but exhibits some blemishing. The front bead is missing.

The 18.5 in plain, cylinder-bore barrel is marked "CHAMBERED FOR 2 3/4 AND 3 IN. SHELLS ... CYLINDER BORE" and is configured without a vent rib. This compact barrel length and cylinder bore form a simple, no-frills layout suited to a wide range of 12 gauge loads within its chambering.
The receiver is aluminum alloy with a black anodized finish and right-side ejection port. The top of the receiver features anti-glare serrations and Mossberg’s tang-mounted manual safety for intuitive operation.
Furniture consists of a ribbed hardwood corncob-style forend paired with a polymer pistol grip, yielding a pistol-grip-only configuration. A knurled magazine cap with a single barrel lug secures the barrel assembly.
Factory rollmarks include "Mossberg, Made in U.S.A., North Haven, Conn, 500A, 12 GA." on the receiver. The shotgun carries a blued finish on the barrel and magazine tube, with steel barrel construction and an overall capacity of 5+1.
