The receiver is roll-marked 'Remington 870 TACTICAL' and houses the proven 870 steel action with twin action bars. An extended tubular magazine stops short of the muzzle and terminates in a knurled end cap, providing increased on-board capacity; a front sling swivel stud is present on the end cap.
The barrel is a smoothbore unit marked 'Remington Arms Company Ilion, NY' and '12 GA, 2 3/4 OR 3'. It is threaded at the muzzle and currently fitted with a ported stand-off/breacher-style choke. A ramped front sight with a white bead/stripe pairs with the rear aperture for fast alignment.
Sighting equipment consists of an adjustable aperture/ghost-ring rear mounted on a receiver Picatinny rail, matched to the ramped front. The rear sight unit shows an 'S' logo. This arrangement offers a clear, repeatable sight picture suitable for defensive or duty-focused applications.
