The Quantico HiCap features a 5-inch Government-length slide with a bushing barrel and GI-style recoil plug. The slide has rear-only vertical cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port. The dustcover is smooth with no accessory rail slots.
Its 2011 modular design uses a polymer double-stack grip module with ACW-logo texturing, plus frontstrap and backstrap checkering. A flared magazine well funnel supports fast reloads. Controls include an upswept beavertail grip safety with memory pad, a skeletonized Commander-style spur hammer, and a skeletonized long trigger with lightening windows.
Fixed iron sights consist of a front blade with a small dot and a serrated fixed rear notch. An RMR-footprint optics cut is present with the cover plate installed, providing flexibility for users who choose to mount a compatible optic later.
Capacity is 17+1, and the modular double-stack system is compatible with Staccato-pattern magazines. Six 17-round magazines are included; two have ACW-logo markings on the lower front of the magazine bodies, and all six have plain black baseplates.
Constructed from 4140 carbon steel and hand-fitted in small batches, this Quantico-series pistol reflects ACW's sister-brand connection to Cabot Guns and draws inspiration from FBI/LE 1911 configurations. It is a recent release within the ACW lineup.
