What’s Included
- Colt Army Special .32-20 Win. revolver with 6-inch barrel
- Aftermarket smooth pearlescent two-piece grip panels (installed)
Built on Colt’s E-frame, this Army Special represents the design that led directly to the Official Police. It is chambered in .32-20 Win. (also known as .32-20 W.C.F.), and the right side of the barrel is marked accordingly with COLT D.A. 32-20 W.C.F., while the top of the barrel carries the Colt address and patent line.
The revolver retains its blued finish over carbon-steel construction, with a 6-inch barrel and a six-shot cylinder. It uses an unshrouded ejector rod with a knurled tip and a square-butt grip frame. Sighting is fixed, with a half-moon front blade and a frame-notch rear.
Controls and handling features include a double-action/single-action mechanism, an exposed hammer with a checkered wide spur, and a smooth trigger face. The capacity is six rounds.
This example has matching serial numbers on the crane and in the frame window, along with a visible assembly number. The aftermarket smooth pearlescent grip panels give the revolver a distinctive look while fitting the square-butt frame profile.
