The MAC 9 DS-D Comp is a full-size, 2011-platform 9mm built on forged 4140 steel with Tenifer QPQ and black Cerakote for durability. This example stands out for its Capital Rifle Competition Tune with a crisp 2 lb trigger, a 5-inch bull barrel with a compensated, top-ported muzzle assembly, and an RMR-pattern optics cut topped with a Holosun HE507COMP-GR green-dot sight. It includes two 17-round magazines, a flared double-stack grip module, and a full-length smooth dustcover (no accessory rail).
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Light surface scratches and small finish blemishes are present from prior handling. The Holosun optic powers on and cycles through brightness levels correctly. There is a decent sized blemish on the optic lens.

The DS-D Comp variant features a 5-inch bull barrel and a compensated, top-ported muzzle assembly to manage gas at the crown. The slide adds forward and rear cocking serrations, lightening windows, and an RMR-pattern optics cut. A tall front sight is installed to co-witness with the mounted optic plate when used.
Construction is forged 4140 steel for both slide and frame, finished in Tenifer QPQ with black Cerakote over it. The full-length smooth dustcover does not have a Picatinny/M1913 accessory rail, and the 2011-style double-stack polymer/steel grip module integrates an extended, flared magwell for fast reloads.
The Capital Rifle Competition Tune includes polished frame rails to remove high spots in the coating; a polished and ramp-cut disconnector track; a Colt sear spring replaced and tuned to a 2 lb pull; fully stoned and polished trigger bow, hammer, and sear engagement surfaces; a reduced 17 lb hammer spring; and a polished feed ramp and chamber. A Dawson Precision extended magazine button is installed for quicker access.
Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. The flat, skeletonized trigger is set to a measured 2.0 lb pull weight per the tune. Capacity is 17+1 with the included double-stack magazines.
