This Springfield Armory XD Mod.2 Sub-Compact in 9mm pairs a 3.0 in hammer-forged, Melonite-treated barrel with a Melonite-finished steel slide and a black polymer frame. It is built with fiber-optic sights, ambidextrous magazine release, and multiple passive safeties. Made in Croatia by HS Produkt for Springfield Armory, it includes two 13-round factory magazines and a Springfield Armory soft case.
The slide carries the Springfield Armory crossed-cannons crest and features front and rear cocking serrations plus a top-mounted loaded-chamber indicator. The frame provides molded texturing and a one-slot accessory rail for a compact light. Serial numbers are visible and matching on the slide, barrel hood, and frame.

The XD Mod.2 Sub-Compact configuration offers a 3.0 in barrel and 13+1 capacity in a compact footprint. Its steel slide and hammer-forged barrel receive a Melonite treatment for hardness and corrosion resistance, while the black polymer frame keeps weight down and handling consistent.
Sight acquisition is fast thanks to the fiber-optic setup: a red front sight paired with a low-profile rear sight with green fiber-optic inserts. The slide adds practical front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation.
Controls and safety features are comprehensive. The pistol is striker-fired with an ambidextrous magazine release and includes a grip safety, trigger safety, and both a top-mounted loaded-chamber indicator and a striker-status indicator.
Manufactured in Croatia by HS Produkt for Springfield Armory and marked "MADE IN CROATIA," this example also features the Springfield Armory crossed-cannons crest on the slide. A one-slot accessory rail is integrated into the dust cover for a compact light. Serial numbers are visible and matching on the slide, barrel hood, and frame.
