Marked "MOD. 29-2" on the yoke cut, it features original S&W target stocks and the period-correct presentation case with tools. The bore is excellent, and the action is smooth with a tight lockup.

The Model 29-2 configuration is clearly marked on the yoke cut. Built on the S&W N-frame with a square-butt grip frame, this revolver uses a six-shot fluted cylinder and a 4-inch heavy barrel with a shrouded ejector rod. Construction is all carbon steel with a high-polish blued finish.
Sight setup includes a pinned ramp front with a red insert and an adjustable micrometer rear. The barrel rib and topstrap have a serrated matte sighting plane to reduce glare. A checkered cylinder-release latch provides positive control.
The hammer and trigger are color case-hardened, with the hammer featuring a wide, checkered spur and the trigger being a wide target type. Factory S&W target-style wooden stocks with S&W medallions and checkering complete the period-correct grip profile.
Made in the United States in 1977, this double-action/single-action .44 Rem Magnum presents with an excellent, mirror-bright bore and strong rifling. The action is notably smooth with a tight lockup. It comes with the S&W wood presentation case and factory tools; note the case top is cracked on the right side.
