The PTR-91 GI pairs the classic HK-pattern roller-delayed system with U.S. manufacturing in Bristol, Connecticut. This GI configuration features an 18-inch 4140 chrome-moly barrel with a threaded muzzle and birdcage flash hider, a tan/khaki receiver, and green polymer furniture. It retains the HK-style hooded front post and rotary drum rear sights and accepts G3/HK91 magazines. One HK-marked 20-round magazine is included.

Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Good Rifling - Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.

This GI configuration stays true to the HK G3/HK91 pattern with a stamped 1018 steel receiver finished in tan/khaki and classic two-pin takedown. It uses the proven roller-delayed blowback action in semi-automatic form and a left-side charging handle on the HK-pattern cocking tube for familiar manual of arms.
The 18-inch barrel is made from 4140 chrome-moly alloy and comes threaded at the muzzle, capped with a birdcage flash hider. This setup supports reliable performance with .308 Win while keeping the package true to the GI pattern.
Sighting is handled by robust iron sights: a hooded front post and the HK rotary drum/diopter rear. In keeping with the GI setup, this rifle does not have a welded optics rail. The wide ('tropical') ventilated green polymer handguard and fixed green polymer stock provide a straightforward, durable furniture set with a 15.0-inch length of pull.
Chambered in .308 Win with a 20+1 capacity, the PTR-91 GI accepts G3/HK91 pattern magazines. Manufacturer markings read "PTR INDUSTRIES, INC. BRISTOL, CT U.S.A. .308 CAL." with the PTR Industries logo on the magazine well. One surplus HK-marked 20-round magazine accompanies the rifle.
