The 92Xi delivers a true single-action-only system with a flat-faced, serrated metal trigger for a consistent break. An ambidextrous, frame-mounted thumb safety with a red fire indicator and a skeletonized ring hammer round out the SAO control set. The Vertec-style straight backstrap with beavertail and thin, aggressively textured grip panels support a firm, repeatable grasp.
The slide is the signature Beretta open-top design with front and rear cocking serrations and is optic-ready with a removable cover plate. Sights are dovetailed: an orange fiber-optic front and a black serrated rear. The two-tone look pairs a light-colored slide with a dark metal frame.
Key dimensions include a 4.7 in barrel, 8.5 in overall length, 5.4 in height, and 1.5 in width. Unloaded weight is 29.6 oz. Capacity is 18+1, and a 3-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dust cover supports lights or lasers. The muzzle is non-threaded with a standard crown.
Built in Gallatin, Tennessee, the pistol uses Beretta’s short-recoil, oscillating locking-block system. Slide markings read "BERETTA U.S.A. CORP. - GALLATIN, TN" and "MADE IN USA - 9mm PARA - PATENTED" with the PB logo, while the frame is marked "TYPE 92Xi." Included magazines are steel, double-stack units with numbered witness holes to 18.
