The SAR9’s foundation is a forged alloy steel slide and barrel with a non-threaded muzzle and standard crown. The chamber hood is marked 9x19, and factory literature specifies 6-groove, right-hand rifling with a 1:10 twist. The pistol carries a black finish throughout for a uniform, duty-ready presentation.
Ergonomics are a standout: the polymer frame includes interchangeable backstraps and side panels, finger grooves, and wraparound texturing. Controls are straightforward with a left-side slide stop and a left-side push-button magazine release for consistent, repeatable manipulation.
Sight regulation is handled by fixed 3-dot sights set in dovetails, with a white-dot front and two-dot rear. The slide features front and rear serrations for positive purchase, and a striker-status indicator is noted in factory literature.
