Built by Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center, this PC1911 features factory action work and a tuned, three-hole skeletonized trigger for a crisp single-action pull. The skeletonized Commander-style hammer, left-only thumb safety, and beavertail grip safety with memory pad support confident handling and control.
The scandium-alloy frame keeps weight to 29.6 oz and uses a conventional straight-backstrap profile for comfortable carry. Grip traction comes from gray/black textured G10 panels and 30 LPI frontstrap checkering, paired with a flat textured mainspring housing.
The stainless slide presents a matte finish in a two-tone scheme over the black frame. Functional slide details include rear fish-scale serrations, front lightening cuts, a flat longitudinally serrated top rib, and a lowered/flared ejection port. Sights are a dovetailed front sight and a low-mount fixed rear notch with a set screw.
The 4.25-inch barrel uses a Briley spherical bushing, with a precision-crowned, throated muzzle and a polished feed ramp. The chamber hood is marked ".45 AUTO PC." Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP. Documentation includes a factory test envelope dated March 10, 2014, and the case label confirms SKU 170344 and the 4.25-inch barrel.
