Durability is a focus with this model: the barrel is phosphate-treated and chrome-lined, the slide wears a Nitron finish, and the internals receive corrosion-resistant coatings. The aluminum alloy frame is hard-coat anodized for added protection.
Controls are classic P226 DA/SA with a decocking lever and a spurred hammer. The frame includes an integral 3-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, and the pistol is equipped with black textured two-piece grip panels for positive purchase.
Markings include "SIG SAUER INC. EXETER-NH-USA" on the frame and "9mm PARA" over "SIG" on the barrel hood. The frame also carries a UID-style label reading "MFR 1EF02 / PNO MK-25-CA" with a 2-D matrix code, consistent with the MK25 lineage and identification format.
